My topic is about "My Black Pearl and My Fiery Orange Opal". Out of all the jewelry I have seen in my lifetime, the natural black pearl and the Chinese Fire Opal are the most beautiful items that I have ever seen.
I was born in the month of October, which explains my love the the opal (really in any form) and my love for the black pearl is just that the black pearl is so not natural. Most clams produce pearls in their natural form which is white. But the black pearl is very unique in that is has about a million to one ratio and to find one that has no marks or imperfections is remarkable.
When you look into any opal you will find that it gives the impression of a birds egg with many natural earthy colors. But, when you look deep into the middle of the fiery opal is gives the appearance of fire in many forms. The more you look at it, the more fire you see in it. In my opinion, they are both truly a beautiful natural stone images.
In describing these two objects, they give to me a sense of unbelief to see how perfect somethings so small has such an impact. They both give great joy to those who get joy from the creativity of God. To think that such small objects in their perfection make people go to great lengths to obtain, buy, sell, risk their lives for and just to posess.
I get a great deal of pleasure not only from the large things in life, but just to see how something so small gives so much soundness and pleasure from something so small.
