For the past two months I have had free cable. I have no idea how it happened but when we moved in the guy we bought the house from told us it was there. It would have been stupid not to take advantage of it.
I was really enjoying not paying for the t.v. I was watching. Well, this past Saturday morning I was watching cartoons with my daughter, Kaylie, when suddenly the cable was gone. I started flipping through the channels to see if it was just Nickelodeon that didn't work, but it wasn't. Every channel had static. I was upset, but Kaylie was even more upset. She kept screaming, "I wanna watch Dora!" Luckily she got a Dora DVD from Santa last Christmas. Unfortunately we had to keep watching it over and over and over. It was pretty annoying, but at least she was happy.
So, now I have to join the real world and start paying for my television. It sucks, but at least I had the opportunity to enjoy free cable for a little while.
