A peach is the most special thing to me, just the sweet smell of the peach is wonderful.
Peaches have alot of vitamin C which are important for fighting off infections.
Look how rosy they are and sometimes bright yellow. And they are very beautiful, they are good and sweet and juicey and delightful. The bitter seeds smell likealmonds. Just to have one peach to yourself will have you thinking that it's the best fruit ever.

I believe that children are spending too much time watching television. I have a two year old daughter who is addicted to cartoons. Every morning she wakes up and says that she wants chocolate milk and to watch cartoons. Although it is a good babysitter, sometimes I worry that watching so much television is going to make her lazy. Since it's cold out right now, it's hard to let her go outside and play.
According to the University of Michigan health system, children ages 2-5 watch 32 hours of television a week. Iwould say this is probably true with my daughter.

Children and TV By: Shante' Berry
Today there are many children that spend too much time watching television. Children spend all their time watching unnecessary television shows, that fills their head with nonsense. Children today believe everything that they see or hear on TV. Television plays a big role on some of the serious things that happen between siblings. Wrestling is one of the TV shows that is dangerous for young children to watch. Children watch this show and they repeat the things they've seen the professional wrestlers do. "Kids who view violent acts are more likely to show aggressive behavior but also fear that the world is scary and that something bad will happen to them" (www.kidshealth.org).
Television can be good for children. There are shows that teach children to count, their alphabets, colors, shapes, different animals, etc. It's just too much TV time that affects the brain of our young children. When children just sit in front of the television and watch TV for hours, they become nonactive. They don't want to do too much of anything, like go play with friends, go out with family, etc. That causes a overweight problem with the young children today. " A great deal is known about children and television, because there has been thousands of studies on the subject. Researchers have studied how TV affects kids' sleep, weight, grades, behavior, and more" (www.med.umich.edu).
So what should young children today really be doing? They should be active, out playing with friends, enjoying life. They should not be believing that television is the answer to everything. In order for this to happen parents need to take charge and manage how much TV time their children get.

Gas prices are reasonable, but I miss the days when gas was just .99 cent per gallon .I could put 5 dollars in my 1988 Chrysler Lebaron and go as far as Forest Park.I used to love filling up for ten dollars. Now and people have to debate rather to get food or gas,and thats a tough decision.
The gas should be $1.50 per gallon for regular unleaded.People could get around more and get things done. This would help the economy in a major way and create more jobs in the market.
Businesses that import and export would continue to go further and have funds for future needs.
If I was President of the United States, that would be one first things I would do in office.
This would help families and businesses in a major way;More fuel to push other products in America.

Children today spend too much time watching television. I have a three years old niece who cry all day if you don't put the TV on for her. She can sit all day watching the same thing over and over and over. One day we had to go to the store so her mother and I had to turn the TV off so that we can go but the little girl went crazy. I had to tell her that she can come back and watch TV but she was crying so hard to the point that we didn't even go to the store. That night I told my brother about his daughter and instead of him talking to her he went and bought her a battery TV! I think that Kidds this day spend most of their time in front of the TV, and that is not good for them at all.
Children and television By Eric Crossty/Journal 8
When I was a young boy, I can remember I never wanted to stay inside to watch television. I never wanted to go inside to eat or to do homework. Staying outdoors was one of my favorite things to do and some my closes friends also. We spent several hours playing sports and riding bikes rather than sit and stare at a colorful box. Children today spend too much time watching television. Recent studies show that children ages 2-5 spends an average of 32 hours per week(Kaiser Family Foundation's Publication). Children between the ages of 6-11 spend an average of 28 hours in front of the television per week, presumably because they are in school(Kaiser Family Foundation's Publication). Mp3's, Ipods, and other electronical devices allow children to spend a lenghty amount of time on the internet which can be as bad as television. Too much television can harm our children so we as parents need to control the time we allow them to watch.
Teachers are ersponsibilty for installing value for childern
I believe that the parent are responsible for installing values. Because the parents spend more time with there children. Parents teach there kids to respect themselves and other people, and to have a long life goal. Parents give there children vision, While teachers just teach according to developmental needs styles. Teachers are responsible for preparing the children for the all the stages of school some life changes to. But it is still the parent's responsibility because they are our shadows.

BONITA BATTON - JOURNAL 8 - TEACHERS DO NOT HAVE THE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY FOR INSTILLING VALUES IN CHILDREN
I feel that it is a misnomer world-wide that teachers have the primary responsibility for teaching and instilling values in children.
It is a known fact, or it should be, that parents are the primary teachers in their children's lives, and it should not be an automatic opinion that that responsibility should be on the teachers. They should only be a back-up to the parents, instead of the other way around.
Initially, parents have the sole responsibility of teaching their children. There is no reason that this project, being so important, can be left in the hands of anyone other than parents. It would be easier on parents to be able to depend on such a matter, but, NOT.
The responsibility of teachers in the educational system is to teach as much of the system as possible to our children. Personally, I feel that it is not up to teachers to teach such things as values, manners, personal issues, love, unselfishness, how to be a productive person in life, or anything related to life itself.
It is too important of an issue that teachers have on them to have to inject another issue. Most parents should support teachers. Once when my sons were in grade school, the teachers were striking for more financial support within the Cincinnati Public School System. Most of the parents in my neighborhood stayed at home. When I saw this, I phoned some of the parents, who in turn phoned some of the other parents and we not only supported the effort through phone solicitations, but we actually joined in the picketing and physically supported the teachers. That's the kind of respect I have always had for our teaching institute.
It's just that important. Teachers have never made the money that they should have. I personally feel that their jobs are extremely undervalued. They are second in command, in my opinion, to parents. And that's all I have to say about that.
They are too much of an entity to ignor.
Amanda Griffin- Journal 8
I agree with the statment that children spend to much time wathcing tv. Now a days children will sit inside and watch tv all day in their free time, instead of maybe studying, or reading, or just going outside to get some fresh air. I think a big problem with children that spend to much time wathcing tv, is that they start lacking social skills and may also be a problem why so many children and becoming obese. Televison can decrease interactions with one another, and stunt the development of family relationships.
The average child watches 1,680 minuets of television per week. (The sourcebook for teaching Science) The American Academy of Pediatrics has suggested to limit your child's use of TV to 1 to 2 hours per day.

I think gas prices are pretty reasonable today, considering that about 2 1/2 years ago it was almost up to about $4.00 a gallon. And ten years ago, the price of a gallon of gas was about $1.10. Today, the average price of a gallon of gas is $2.35. Not bad considering everything else has gone up considerably.
A loaf of bread in 199 was about $1.29 and today a loaf of bread is about $2.99.
A carton of 12 eggs in 1999 was $1.79 and today the average price for 12 eggs is $.99.
McDonald's hamburger in 1998 was $2.69 and today you can buy a hamburger off the $1 menu.
So some prices have gone down on items compared to ten years ago, maybe it makes up the little bit of difference for a gallon of gas.

********Thanksgiving thanks...by Beckie Sealock
What I am most thankful this year is that my loved ones are healthy and alive. Everyone in my family has a roof over their heads and food on the table. They have heat in their homes and clean clothes on their backs.
My Mother and Step-father are coming to my house from Pennsylvania this year for Thanksgiving and I cannot wait. This will be my Step-dad's first visit to see where and how I live.
My Mom and I are planning to go shopping on Black Friday. I will probably take her to the new outlet mall in my town of Monroe. She'll be excited about that, which that will make me happy. My daughter, Ally, is working that day from twelve midnight to eight in the morning, so I'm hoping we can time it just right so that we can pick her up to go shopping with us when she is done with her shift.
One other thing that I am thankful for this year is my boyfriend Ron....soon to be fiance' then husband, (someday). We have melted our families together and have had our up and downs with that, but it seems to be working out just fine. I'm thankful for him because my daughter Taylor now has a terrific father in her life and 2 older sisters that she can talk with and fight with.
These are the things that I am most thankful for.

One process that i am familiar with is the going to the ER room process. it is so hard to be seen when you first walk in to the ER room. they first sign you inn then you have to wait till they call you to see what maid you come to the ER room then they will tell you to sit in the waiting room. after that they will call you again to registration and get your information. after about a two hour wait they will take you to the back of the room then again you have to wait for the doctor. Then you Finlay get to see the doctor.
if i could do it in a better way i would hire more staff and alto more doctors so that the proses can go faster.

Cook Preparation
This blog is to show people how to prepare to cook. This process may sound easy, but it's quite hard. These steps should make it easier:
1. When preparing, you have to first know what you are cooking; this way you will know what you need to take out.
2. Once you have your meal planned, take the proper pots and pans out. (You can't cook a turkey in a skillet).
3. After you have yours pots out, take the proper utensils out. (You can't cook a steak with a plastic fork).
4. Depending on your meal, turn the oven on to desired temperature. (You can't cook baked chicken in an oven that's 100 degrees).
5. After all those things are taken care of, you now take everything out that it will take to cook the meal in the pots and pans. (Butter, cooking oil, or vinegar; it all helps).
Now you are all set up for the food; I hope you know how to cook.

Journal 7 Why I dont date older women over 35 anymore Aaron Pullins
Dating can be fun, until you run into a woman who has more experience than you,and expects to much from you.I used to date women my age until I got tired of them.I always had fantasies of being with an older woman as a kid for some reason, but now I am very careful of dating women over 35.
I recently met a women that was 35 years old.She seemed nice and polite, and pretty much went went the flow. I went out to her house a couple times and had a ball! She called me everyday after that,to the point I kind of got turned off.She was to demanding, and didnt give me a chance to continue to be romantic to her.
She called me one good nite while I was chilling and ask me to come to her now or else. I was busy with school work at the time,so I couldn't make it.She got mad and threatened to have me hurt by her goons.I guess I hurt her feelings.I learned my lesson.Never get involved with an older woman unless you really know her or love her.
Now she keeps calling asking to chill but,I am scared to see her again.

Back Against the Wall by Eric Crossty
Starting a new job assignment can have its conflicts. I just recently got reassigned to being a Flex Officer with my company and it's conflicting with my school schedule. a Flex Officer is someone who does or does not have a set work schedule and work at multiple different work sites. The job pays more money but, by me taking morning classes can effect my payroll. I take morning classes and my employer has scheduled me with morning shifts. Since then, I have considered going to 3rd shift so I am able to pay my bills on time. This is a tough decision I have to make, and I need to do something quick because the holidays are here. Stuck with no money during the holidays will bring you down so faster than anything. I will miss my old assignment because the work schedule went perfect with my school schedule. No one said everything you do in life will be easy but we have to take the good with the bad.

Today was the worse day I was late for class. You know when you come in late every body stares at you. That was really funny and as I was walking by ERIN said something crazy that's nothing new. So they have know a idea that I am writing about them since I had nothing else to write about so I am done. They are quite now look at that I really think that Eric was drink something other then a Tea in a can. We all know he is a drunk and now Erin is talking about why he dont date women over 30 look at that oh really.
IF THIS WORLD WAS MINE-Journal 7- Carla McNeal
If this world was mine, it wouldn't have to shine all the time. If we can accept the sun, then we must accept the rain. Life would be full of happiness, yet we must feel some pain. Emotionally erect, emotionally correct would fit into our psyche, just like the word Nike we would just do it and achieve it, most of all become it. Whatever our dreams and aspirations, our lives would be full of love not desperation. Every other day we would wake up to a rainbow and in the trees the most beautiful robin would be singing, the bells from the churches would be ringing. God and his son would have the whole world singing of their mighty power that would grace all mankind in a shower of flowers. I know this sounds a little hokey poky, yet it rings in my heart to talk about love instead of hate, about understanding instead of just being demanding.
